Description

Sandblasted acrylic with stepped shoulders meets wood in layered planes, recalling the stillness and depth of Arctic ice. When illuminated, light moves gently through the form, unfolding in soft layers and giving presence to the lens as an object in itself. Rotated into a circular composition, the form takes on an orbital expression of light. At rest, it becomes a table lamp.
